This variety is also a super-fast grower, growing over 6 feet per year. Cut to fruit took 14 months, making it one of the quickest fruit types.
Flowers from this variety are unique, with a typical white fading to a soft pink base. When blooming during nighttime, a sweet fragrance fills the air. The fruit is small, but some fruit can weigh over a pound. A surprise was the taste of the fruit. It is similar to a sweet melon with a floral or rosy aftertaste and an average brix rating of 18.
These three characteristics (stem, flower, and fruit taste) make this variety stand out from other Selenicereus Undatus. This variety is self-fertile and a great source of pollen for pollinating different types of Dragon Fruit.
