Selenicereus Guatemalensis and Selenicereus Undatus. Also known as 9S, this is a cross between Rixford a purple-fleshed variety and Niezel, a white-fleshed variety created by Paul Thomson. Flowers are self-sterile and need to be cross pollinating. Growers reporting that it takes from bud to flower 23 days and flower to ripe fruit 43 days.
The fruit has Dark Pink/Red skin, with Green fins and the flesh Magenta/Purple, Average weight is 0.75-1.5 Lbs. The fruit has a sweet, crunchy, Kiwi Lychee Combination flavor, and is very refreshing. Reported brix 19-20.
