Baby Cerrado is a Selenicereus setaceus variety native to South America, and this is a subspecies of the Brazilian Cerrados. This variety grows naturally on rocky mountains, old tree trunks, and sand soils of high fields in Minas Gerais, Bahia, Goiás, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, and Tocantins states. 
Baby Cerrado plants have dark green leaves and three small spines. The plants can be aggressive once established This variety is still rare in the United States. This variety also goes by the name Tasty.
This variety flowers profusely and grows very well without disease or other issues. They are self-sterile and require another pollinator to produce fruit
The fruit has very high sweetness similar to yellow dragon fruits, however, it is genetically different with a red skin and white flesh. The fruit are small, Sweet, well flavored and generally quite abundant.
