S. OCAMPONIS
Selenicere Ocamponis is endemic to Mexico. It can be found in the dry state regions of Jalisco and Nayarita. In these states, it is typically found in low dry forests, in rock outcrops, and on large rock formations in its habitat. The plant is a strong but very slow grower with interesting grayish green stems. These stems are very long thick three sided segments with spines. One positive aspect of the plant is its blooms. They are very impressive with bright colors and extra large blooms up to 15 inches in diameter. The variety is not self-pollinating so it will need help with hand pollination
